Intraoral Camera
We want you to feel like an active participant in making decisions about your own dental treatment, but it can be tough to do that without seeing what is going on in your mouth for yourself. With an intraoral camera, you’ll be able to view close-up images of your teeth and gums on our chairside monitor so that you have a clear visual to refer to when listening to our recommendations. These cameras also help us check for warning signs of tooth decay and gum disease at various angles.
Digital X-Rays
X-rays let us examine the oral structures beneath the surface of the gums so that we can give you a complete picture of your oral health. Radiography is nothing new to dentistry, of course, but the switch to digital X-rays has greatly reduced the amount of radiation exposure involved in the process. Also, the images are available for viewing immediately, and we can conveniently store them in an easy-to-access computer file instead of a crowded filing cabinet.
